tigress tranquilized after deadly attack : चंद्रपूर - देशात प्रथमच एकावेळी ३ महिलांना वाघाने ठार केल्याची घटना १० मे रोजी चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यातील सिंदेवाही तालुक्यात घडली. मेंढामाल मध्ये राहणाऱ्या ६६ वर्षीय कांताबाई बुधाजी चौधरी, ४९ वर्षीय सारिका शालिक शेंडे व ३० वर्षीय शुभांगी मनोज चौधरी या महिला सिंदेवाही उपक्षेत्रातील नियतक्षेत्र डोंगरगाव मध्ये तेंदूपत्ता गोळा करायला गेल्या होत्या. त्याठिकाणी दबा धरून बसलेल्या वाघाने अचानक हल्ला केला या हल्ल्यात ३ महिला ठार झाल्या. 3 women killed by tiger in forest

एकावेळी ३ महिलांची वाघाने शिकार केली हे प्रकरण प्रथमच घडले, तेंदूचा हंगाम असल्याने चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यातील घनदाट जंगलात महिला व पुरुष तेंदूपत्ता गोळा करण्यासाठी जातात आणि त्याठिकाणी वन्यप्राण्यांचे हल्ले होतात. हि घटना घडल्यावर घटनास्थळी कॅमेरा ट्रॅप व लाईव्ह कॅमेरे लावण्यात आले होते. tiger human conflict in chandrapur
त्या घटनेला जबाबदार असणाऱ्या नरभक्षक वाघिणीला पकडण्यासाठी वनविभागाने कम्बर कसली, त्या वाघिणीला पकडण्यासाठी ६२ कर्मचाऱ्यांचा फौजफाटा कार्यरत होता,सिंदेवाहीचे वनपरिक्षेत्र अधिकारी विशाल सालकर यांच्या नेतृत्वात डोंगरगाव नियतक्षेत्रात कक्ष क्रमांक १३६० मध्ये पोलीस दलाचे शुटर अजय मराठे यांनी अचूक निशाणा साधत वाघिणीला डार्ट मारीत बेशुद्ध करून जेरबंद केले.
सध्या वाघिणीच्या बछड्याचा शोध वनविभाग करीत आहे. सदर वाघिणीला पकडण्यासाठी ब्रह्मपुरी वनविभागाचे राकेश सेपट, एमबी चोपडे, डॉ , रविकांत खोब्रागडे, अजय मराठे, राकेश आहुजा, विशाल सालकर, एनटी गडपायले, एसबी उसेंडी, पीएस मानकर, केडी मसराम, वाय एम चौके, डीआर पेंदोर, ओव्ही चहांदे यांनी अथक परिश्रम केले.
